This project allowed us to create and design our own restaurant concept. I chose to create a seafood and steakhouse because those are my two favorite foods. Growing up in Seattle, Washington seafood was a huge part of my life. Seafood was always super fresh and just a part of my lifestyle. I designed my restaurant to be located on Carolina Beach in North Carolina because I still remember going to the beach with my dad there and it being an adventure for us. Here are just a few pictures from my presentation I prepared for my project.. For my featured menu item I prepared a coleslaw which is my favorite recipe we use in my household. In the picture we added a piece of pineapple in order to go with my ocean theme and give it a nice pop of flavor. I knew this concept would have a lot of competition because when a restaurant is located on or near the ocean they tend to serve seafood and steak. i was willing to take the risk because I believe my restaurant will have the best tasting food and we guarantee great service.
